Blue Shed, Ohio

Lost a little, I found it just at dusk

somewhere along Rt. 10 in northern Ohio:

an ordinary shed standing all by itself

in a nondescript vacant lot, its worn blue

boards inviting anyone’s surprise. For what

purpose could it have served? And who chose

to provide this detour into painted blueness

for a stray passerby, as if to say, Look?
